There are few things on the internet that piss people off more than a disabled context menu. People with specific disabilities rely on it, many others use it extensively regardless – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You may hear from users who don’t care (after reading this comment) but you will never know how many visitors you have lost because of your ridiculous idea of taking the right-click menu away from visitors – utter nonsense. What’s even more mind-boggling, is that (as I see in the source code) most pics are from other sites yet you still try to deny users the opportunity to download them?!!
Beyond on that, it has no effect on most people anyway. I can think of 4 ways to get the pics quickly and easily off the top of my head – and I know there are more. Probably the easiest way for most is to take screen shots or get links from the source code. If you want the pics folks, try that. azhunks doesn’t own them anyway; They just don’t want ‘you’ to have them.
You’ve lost another visitor, one of probably thousands that have already decided that a ‘don’t touch my stuff’ website is not worth spending time at.
Do you realize that people can’t even right-click in this comments box to help them easily edit their comments? Unbelievable!! The shortcut keys work folks – use them. (CTRL+A CTRL+V CTRL+C etc) Idiots indeed.
