There’s no clear stand out among the 29 contestants participating in Mister International this year and the result could be a non-favorite just like last year when Ngo Tien Doan from Vietnam won the title. However, there are 10 delegates who project very well and one of them could win it all. They are:

1. VIETNAM, Lê Xuân Vĩnh Thụy

The producers of Mister International came from Singapore and there’s a big chance that they will favor Asian delegates just like last year when Vietnam won the title. Vietnam sent a better contestant this year and a back-to-back victory for this country is highly possible.

2. GREAT BRITAIN, William Moore

Mr. Great Britain has a handsome face and nice physique. He’s got that movie star look that surely stands out.

3. BELGIUM, Thomas Ladangh

Mr. Belgium is a dead-ringer of American heartthrob Zac Efron. Having the look similar to the High School Musical star makes this delegate a crowd favorite.

4. VENEZUELA, Luis Nuzzo

Lusi Nuzzo is the oldest among the contestants. At 30 years old, he has the most experience. And he’s from the land of pageantry, Venezuela! How can he go wrong?

5. EGYPT, Karim Jamal El Din

His rugged good looks and great physique could take him to the Top 5.

6. SPAIN, Hector Soria

22-year-old Hector is perhaps the most photogenic among the bunch but his physique is not that impressive as there are more than 10 contestants who are more buff than him.

7. INDONESIA, Holly Feriston

Indonesia has a good track record in Mister International and Holly Feriston could keep that momentum.

8. BOLIVIA, Joan Bruno Kettels Torrico

Mr. Bolivia is among the early favorites to win the title though i’m not sure by now if he was able to maintain the expectations. Nevertheless, he is a strong delegate and could penetrate the finals as well.

9. GREECE, Nikos Douramanis

Nikos is the tallest among the contestants and this alone can get him the attention that he needs. His charming but somehow mischievous look is working for him.

10. PHILIPPINES, Michael Manansala

His shaved head and charismatic personality stands out. If the judges are not looking for the “body-builder” types, then Michael has the chance to become the Philippines’ second Mr. International after Alexander Aquino brought home the bacon in 2001.

STRONG ALTERNATES: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ireland, Angola, India, Malta, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore and Thailand.

CAN PULL A SURPRISE: Lebanon, Taiwan (hometown delegate), Colombia, Slovenia and France.

LONG SHOT: China, Korea and New Zealand.

30-year-old Luis Nuzzo is Venezuela’s delegate to the 2009 Mr. International pageant which is happening on December 19 in Taichung, Taiwan.

Antonio José Rojas Cabrera is a model from Caracas, Venezuela.

18-year-old Orlando Delgado is Venezuela’s representative to this year’s Manhunt International Pageant which is currently being held in Seoul, Korea. Orlando is 181 cm. tall and works as a professional model.

Leonardo Corredor is an 18-year-old model and actor from Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. He has guest starred in TV series such as “Control Remoto,” “Dum Dum” and “La Merienda”; and was recently selected as the Mister Handsome Venezuela 2007-2008.

Lino Martone, born March 6, 1970, in Caracas, is a Venezuelan actor who started out as a musician. Martone is best known for acting in telenovelas in Venezuela and Columbia. He landed his first TV stint playing the role of Esteban in the 1997 series “Yo amo a Paquita Gallego”. He also appeared in another TV series in the same year, “Mi querida Isabel” , as Aldo. His other credits include “Protagonistas de la fama VIP” , “Hotel Glamour” (2003) , “Luzbel esta de visita” (2001) , “Revancha, La” (2000) TV , “Madre, La” (1998).

Santiago Cabrera (born May 5, 1978) is a Chilean American actor. The middle child of a Chilean diplomat father and homemaker mother, Cabrera was born in Caracas, Venezuela and lived in Toronto, London, Madrid and Romania before his family returned to Chile when he was fifteen years old. As captain of the soccer team in high school, Cabrera focused on athletics before switching gears and headed towards acting when his high school drama teacher encouraged him to try acting.

Concurrent with his final year at the Centre, he made his television debut with small roles in the London series “Battles of Britain,” “Judge John Deed,” “Spooks” and “As If.” His first role after graduating from drama school was Montano in Shakespeare’s “Othello,” at the Northampton Theatre Royal. He has also appeared on Love and Other Disasters.

He has appeared on American television in Empire (where he portrays Octavius, Julius Caesar’s teenage nephew, whom Caesar named as his successor before his death) and Heroes.

In addition to his fluency in Spanish, English, French and Italian, Cabrera is skilled in tennis, hockey and scuba diving. On the 20 January 2007 episode of the NBC late-night program “Vivo Mun2″, Cabrera discussed his semi-professional football career in London before he fully commited to acting. He also stated that C.D. Universidad Católica of Santiago is his favorite team. While he considers Santiago, Chile to be his hometown, he currently resides in London.

German Gonzales is a 25 year-old hunk from Venezuela. He stands 190 cm. and weighs 80 kg. He is a student & fashion model. German has won the title Mr. Turismo Venezuela and earned the right to represent Venezuela in this year’s Manhunt International.

Yul Burkle is a Venezuelan celebrity. He was born on September 30, 1974 in Caracas Venezuela. He is best known for acting in telenovelas.
